American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel contract at a high-volume emergency department in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active AHA certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Cerner (Ceil)

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI (Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills) or MOAB De-Escalation Course online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
