Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Stepdown position at a major hospital campus in Cleveland, requiring at least 18 months of neuro stepdown experience and active OH or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Neuro Stepdown unit in a large hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience required; travel experience acceptable
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Previous employees of this health system are subject to restrictions on assignment length and return eligibility
