American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position in Ohio, requiring 1+ year of CVOR experience, Epic proficiency, and flexibility across evening and night shifts with on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Level I Trauma facility setting within a dedicated cardiovascular OR unit
• Surgical cases include cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures
• Mixed shift schedule consisting of 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts, with flexibility required
• Evening shift hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM; Day/Night shift hours: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
• On-call is required: evening shift averages approximately 24 hours of call per 4-week period, with all shifts averaging 30–40 hours of call per 4-week period
• Evening shift is required to take weekend call
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant nursing
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR-specific experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures
• Epic EMR experience required

• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
