American Traveler is hiring a Night House Nursing Supervisor RN for a hospital-based nursing administration role requiring an active MA RN license and nursing leadership experience.

Details

• Hospital-based position within a Nursing Administration department
• Night shift schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Primarily 5x8-hour shifts with occasional flexibility for 12-hour shifts as needed
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic for charting
• UKG/Kronos used for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BSN strongly preferred; an Associate's degree with a minimum of 3–5 years of Staff RN experience and demonstrated leadership (e.g., Charge RN or similar role) will be considered
• Current BLS certification required — AHA only (Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer into position
• CPI certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer into position
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions permitted
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Demonstrated clinical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills required

Additional Information

• Functions as the coordinator of patient care and representative of Nursing Administration for the assigned shift
• Coordinates hospital services in collaboration with the Administrator-on-Call
• Incorporates knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into patient care delivery
• Contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement initiatives
