American Traveler is hiring an LVN/LPN for an urgent care position in La Verne, CA, requiring 2+ years of urgent care, ED, or medical office experience and a valid CA license.

Details

• Outpatient urgent care clinic setting
• Performs clinical procedures including blood draws, vital signs, IV therapy, splinting, workers' comp evaluations, pre-employment physicals, and drug screens
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–17:30) with variable start times
• Five days per week with a weekend rotation, including opening and closing shifts
• May be required to travel to a sister office location
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current CA LVN/LPN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care, ED, or medical office experience
• BLS, IV certification, and catheter certification required
• ACLS preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• 12-lead EKG/ECG experience preferred
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of certifications required for consideration
• COVID vaccination status required for consideration

• This is a temp-to-perm opportunity
• Candidates must have been away from this facility for at least 1 year to be eligible
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Orientation includes 3–6 hours of non-billable online modules
• Solid black scrubs required
