Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with extensive cardiovascular specialty experience for a travel assignment in New Orleans, LA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and cardiovascular call availability.

Details

• Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital
• Cardiovascular specialty focus, with exposure to Robotics, General, Orthopedic, and other surgical specialties
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (6:15 AM – 4:45 PM)
• Cardiovascular call required

Requirements

• Active LA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Extensive cardiovascular OR experience required; experience in Robotics, General, and Orthopedic specialties strongly preferred
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• This position is located in an area commonly impacted by hurricanes; staff may be assigned to an Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility during a storm or serve on a relief team
