Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Pre-Op position requiring ACLS and PALS certifications, with 4x10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday.

Details

• Hospital PACU and Pre-Op setting
• Pre-Op hours: 5:30am–4:00pm; Recovery hours: 8:30am–7:00pm
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with alternating days off
• On-call required for after-hours or weekend cases
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required prior to start (pending license considered for application)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or Pre-Op RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Pass/fail competency testing is administered on the first day of orientation, including a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and a Moderate Sedation Test — candidates have one attempt to pass
