American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Infusion position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Hematology/Oncology experience and active NJ or Compact RN license.

Details

• Pediatric Infusion unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes all types of childhood cancers and sickle cell patients
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday rotation required
• Floating may be required to Pediatrics, Adolescent, PICU Stepdown, and other units based on skillset
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and APHON
• Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology (Hem/Onc) experience required; inpatient or outpatient experience accepted
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Required skills include PEWs, phlebotomy (A-lines, central lines, PICCs), chemotherapy administration and monitoring, and wound care
• Bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required for consideration

• Former employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
