American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step-Down position requiring Epic experience and a TX or compact RN license, with candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Details

• Step-down unit serving a mix of med/surg and intermediate care patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on shift assignment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
