American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Cardiology Telemetry position requiring experience with post-cardiac patients, cardiac drips, and stroke patients on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Details

• Medical Cardiology unit in a hospital setting
• Post-cardiac patient population including stroke patients
• Experience with cardiac drips required
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active CT or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Experience with post-cardiac patients, cardiac drips, and stroke patients required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to post-cardiac and stroke patients, including management of cardiac drips
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must include front and back of card
• RN license verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred where available
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
