American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a BSN.

Details

• Position is within a Diagnostic Imaging/Interventional Radiology department at an acute care hospital
• Responsibilities center around monitoring patients in the MRI department, including pacemaker programming for MRI compatibility
• Day shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (3x8-hour shifts)
• 24 hours per week
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to different units or facilities may be required at the manager's request

Requirements

• Active Illinois (IL) RN license currently in hand — no emergency or pending licensure accepted
• BSN required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Patient vitals monitoring experience required
• Radiology nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Duties include monitoring patients in the MRI department, performing pacemaker programming for MRI, and administering medications for imaging exams
• Two references required for consideration, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the past year
• All requested time off (RTO) must be documented at the time of initial consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Vaccination status must be provided at time of consideration
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted, though a local pay rate would apply
