American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 1 year of PCU experience, with night shift availability and every-other-weekend commitment.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a hospital setting in Liberty, MO
• 12-hour night shifts, 1845–0715
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Major holiday coverage required; manager may work with schedule for potential time off on a major holiday
• Travelers are first to float to lesser acuity units

Requirements

• Active RN license — Missouri or Compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience required
• High acuity drip experience preferred
• Arterial line experience preferred
• BiPAP/Airvo experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation spans multiple days: Days 1–2 at the health system's main orientation, Day 3 at the Liberty facility orientation, Day 4 is clinical orientation, and Day 5 varies by unit
• This is a nicotine-free facility
• Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
• New graduates will not be considered for this position
