American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital in Winter Haven, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and on-call availability every other weekend.

Details

• Work setting is a 447-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Assignment is within the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM)
• On-call required every other weekend
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Royal blue scrubs are required

• RTO cannot be written into the contract per facility policy; any time-off requests require verbal manager approval only
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• State Board of Nursing license verification and NURSYS verification required for consideration
