Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a travel contract at a Level 3 NICU within a Magnet-designated children's hospital, requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of NICU experience.

Details

• Level 3 NICU in a Magnet-designated, pediatric teaching hospital and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• 13-bed NICU unit with an average daily census of 9–10 patients
• Variable shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts (days: 7:00–19:00 or nights: 19:00–7:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Occasional on-call required
• Floating to sister facilities is required, with advance notice given prior to shift; mileage reimbursement provided from home location
• Mid-shift floating may occasionally be required
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• Free parking available for travelers
• Any color scrubs accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted with an ETA from the licensing board
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU Level 3 or higher experience required
• Experience attending high-risk deliveries required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
