Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care position providing end-of-life care in a home-based setting, with on-call responsibilities and HCHB EMR experience required.

Details

• Home hospice setting operating out of a hub/office location
• Geriatric patient population receiving end-of-life care
• Caseload of approximately 5–7 patients per day
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–17:00)
• On-call responsibilities required; details to be discussed during the interview
• HCHB EMR experience required
• iPad provided for use in the field

Requirements

• Active RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospice nursing experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Must be flexible with territory coverage within the assigned radius

Additional Information

• Provides in-home end-of-life nursing care to a geriatric patient population
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
