American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU position requiring 2+ years of cardiac and telemetry experience, with Epic EMR proficiency and every other weekend availability.

Details

• Day shift position: 06:45–19:15
• Float role covering Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
• Patient population includes cardiac patients and post-cardiac catheterization cases
• Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday)
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RI or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association or Red Cross only); ACLS must reflect prior use in a clinical setting, not obtained solely for compliance
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience required, including care of cardiac cath and PCU patients
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Responsibilities include caring for telemetry and PCU patients, with an emphasis on cardiac cath recovery and general cardiac patient management
• Float assignment covering both Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units
