Description

American Traveler is hiring a GI/Endoscopy Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience and strong specialty procedure skills for a 13-week inpatient assignment.

Details

• Inpatient GI/Endoscopy unit in an acute care hospital setting
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Weekday on-call runs from 5:30 PM–7:00 AM, with full weekend on-call coverage from Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
• Approximately 6 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, plus 1 weekend on-call rotation (every 6th or 7th weekend)
• Procedures include colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, dilations, and bronchoscopy (including robotic-assisted cases)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy Tech experience required
• Strong proficiency in specialty procedures including ERCP, EUS, and robotic and standard bronchoscopy
• Current BLS certification required
• Inpatient experience required
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers will be considered if they have strong, solid Endoscopy Tech experience
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assist with a broad range of GI and pulmonary procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, dilations, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopy cases with and without robotic assistance
• Flu vaccine required
• Light green scrubs required
• All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at time of submission
