American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN for an outpatient gynecologic oncology clinic setting in Cincinnati, requiring BLS and a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting, rotating between two clinic locations
• Department focuses on gynecologic oncology
• Patient population spans all age groups, from neonates through geriatrics
• Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vitals and medical histories, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, reviewing and communicating lab and pathology results, and assisting with in-office gynecologic procedures
• 8-hour day shifts
• Epic EHR used; training preferred

Requirements

• Current LPN license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience (e.g., PCT, CNA, LPN) in an acute care, long-term care, or physician practice setting preferred
• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited LPN program required
• Proof of address documentation required for consideration
• Valid driver's license, 1 supervisory reference, SSN, and DOB (MM/DD) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides direct nursing care under the direction of an RN, physician, PA, or advanced practice provider, including medication administration, wound dressing changes, phlebotomy, and asthma treatment
• Collects and documents objective and subjective patient data, including pain assessments, treatment responses, and care plan updates
• Pass/fail EKG test administered on the first day with two attempts allowed; study guides will be provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
