American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and ACLS certification at a busy invasive cardiology unit performing over 6,000 procedures per year.

Details

• Invasive Cardiology unit featuring 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, 2 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, and 23 prep/recovery bays
• Unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explant, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Minimal on-call responsibilities, primarily supporting full-time staff as needed
• Must be available to stay until the last patient is cared for
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit before being forwarded to the manager; a manager interview is required
• May provide care to COVID-positive patients
