American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in York County, Maine, requiring at least 2 years of home health experience and Epic/OASIS proficiency.

Details

• Home health setting serving York County, Maine, with office and administrative base in Saco, ME
• Territory will be assigned within York County following offer acceptance
• Adult patient population including med/surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, and GU cases
• Caseload of 20–25 patients with an expectation of 5–6 visits per day
• May be utilized as a re-visitor if agency needs change during the contract
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekend rotation options: every other weekend with a weekday off, Tuesday–Saturday, or Sunday–Thursday schedule — assigned based on agency needs
• Evening call required 2–4 times per month between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM; no overnight call
• No floating between units; however, a 25-mile float policy between facilities may apply as needed
• EMR: Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maine (ME) or Compact license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience
• Epic and OASIS experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Preferred skills include IV therapy, tube feeds, tracheostomy care, compression wraps, port access, ostomy care, chest tubes, suprapubic catheters, and lab draws
• Clinician will be issued an agency laptop, iPhone with accessories, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, and an INR machine — all equipment must be returned upon contract end
• Business casual or scrubs in any color are acceptable; jeans, open-toed shoes, and clothing with holes are not permitted
• AirPods and personal cell phone use are not permitted while working
• Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system in the past 12 months should disclose this during the application process
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any facility in this health system (including residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
