American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability in a New Orleans hospital setting.

Details

• Works across Med/Surg and ER Holding units with med/surg patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
• RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the assignment
