Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a float pool position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Float pool position — not unit-based; ICU RNs are expected to float to all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU
• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts (7:00–19:30 days / 19:00–7:30 nights)
• Weekends required as needed
• 5 days on / 3 days off schedule

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required (2.5 years preferred)
• Ability to float to multiple departments and facilities within the health system
• NIHSS certification preferred

• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of offer — requests submitted after contract signing will not be accommodated
• Position involves floating across a broad range of critical care and acute care settings
