American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a pediatric imaging department at a newly opened Level II trauma facility, with ARRT-CT certification and WA state licensure required.

Details

• Pediatric imaging department at a newly built (opened May 2026) 152-bed Level II trauma facility, including a 70-bed NICU, in Tacoma, WA
• Patient population is pediatric, ages 0–18, across all diagnoses and case types
• Equipment includes Siemens Definition Edge CT scanner and Biograph MCT Flow Edge PET/CT scanner
• Schedule is 10-hour night shifts, Thursday through Wednesday, 11:30 PM – 10:00 AM (7/70 rotation)
• 35 hours per week
• Weekend rotation is dependent upon the shift taken
• On-call is possible but limited to off-hours and weekends, no more than 24 hours per month
• No floating required
• Free garage and street parking available; local light rail is an option if parking is limited

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• WA state license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required; pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, patience, and kindness when working with pediatric patients and their families
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Self-starter with strong multitasking abilities
