American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OB/GYN Center position in Somerville, MA, requiring prior travel experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Position is based in an Obstetrics & Gynecology Center within a hospital setting
• 8-hour rotating shifts covering varied days and evenings
• 4 shifts per week
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• No floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license (current or conditional) required — NURSYS verification report showing all past and present licenses required for consideration
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN specialty experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 recent supervisor or manager references from matching specialty required for consideration
• Valid driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Care is delivered with a focus on patient-centered and culturally responsive practices
• Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application and may not exceed 5 days; RTO cannot be added after confirmation
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Any color scrubs are accepted
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but will be considered at a local rate
