American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position in Minnesota, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PICU or pediatric CVICU experience and current PALS certification.

Details

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Patients include pre-operative and post-operative pediatric surgical and trauma patients, as well as pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients
• Full-time 1.2 FTE position with rotating day and night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Every weekend schedule may also be considered

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience, including care of pre- and post-operative surgical and trauma patients, OR minimum 2 years of pediatric CVICU experience with competency in cardiac surgical and procedural patient care
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• N95 fit testing required

• Care for a complex pediatric patient population including surgical, trauma, and cardiac cases
• Competency in both pre- and post-operative care is expected across PICU or CVICU patient types
