Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 3 years of CVICU experience, including post-cardiac surgery recovery care, and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a CVICU within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post-cardiac surgery patients recovering directly from the OR
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• Floating to other ICUs (Med ICU, Trauma ICU, Surgical ICU) may be required if CVICU census is low
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TCAR
• Minimum 3 years of CVICU experience required
• Experience with recovery and care of open-heart (post-cardiac surgery) patients required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
