Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience, charge experience, and on-call availability.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab (both Diagnostic and Interventional)
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required, averaging 12–14 days per 6-week schedule
• Rotating weekend call coverage required
• Every other Friday and Monday off when not scheduled for weekend call
• Floating to a sister facility (JMH) required as needed

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Experience in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
• Local candidates are not accepted; the 100-mile radius rule applies to all candidates
