Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 3 years of CVICU experience, including post-cardiac surgery care, with night shift availability and an AZ or compact license in hand.

Details

• CVICU setting with potential floating to Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, or Surgical ICU based on census
• Newly launched cardiovascular surgery program
• Post-cardiac surgery patient population, including patients recovering directly from the OR
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• Floating to other ICU service lines may be required if census is low

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TCAR
• Minimum 3 years of CVICU experience required
• Demonstrated experience with recovery and care of open-heart/post-cardiac surgery patients (directly from the OR)
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
