American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric PACU position in Washington, DC, requiring a DC RN license and a minimum of 2 years of general PACU experience.

Details

• Position is located on the third floor PACU unit of a hospital
• 4x10-hour shifts with flexible start times ranging from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Day/Evening coverage)
• 13-week contract
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Floating may be required to the main OR based on census needs
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a local pay rate

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required; pending DC license accepted, but must be in hand prior to start date — proof of pending status required for consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of general PACU experience required, including administration of blood products, infection control, and specimen handling and labeling
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• Flu vaccination is required for all travelers at this facility
