Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical travel assignment requiring telemetry experience, night shifts, and a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.

Details

• Acute care medical/surgical and bariatric unit
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units required
• 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract nurses are expected to support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside regular patient care duties
