American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN/LVN with 2+ years of skilled long-term care experience for a night shift LTC/Transitional Care Unit position in Seattle, WA.

Details

• Long-term care and transitional care unit (TCU) setting
• Patient ratio of 1:15–25
• Scheduled for 3x8-hour night shifts (22:00–06:30), Friday through Sunday every week
• Typically 3 shifts per 24-hour period spent in the TCU, with remaining time floating to other areas within the facility or other facilities within Washington State
• Charting system: Net Solutions
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of skilled long-term care or transitional care experience required
• Experience with central line blood draws, central line dressing changes, IV pumps, and starting IVs required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Reliable personal transportation required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are accepted at the same travel rate
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington State; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Block scheduling is available
• Casual/comfortable attire is acceptable
• RTO is minimal; any requested time off should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Travel pairs must each have their own transportation
