American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Montana, requiring 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active MT or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 10-hour shifts (0730–1800), 4 days per week, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need and within scope of competency
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required (must not expire prior to start date)
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit required (must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speaking, reading, and writing)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screen required; allow at least 2 weeks for results
