American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active MT or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• 12-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during a regularly scheduled shift may be required

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate for the unit — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the contract start date
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• English proficiency (speak, read, write) required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for L&D patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy as part of patient care
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
