Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• PACU unit in a hospital setting
• Primary case types include Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, GYN, and GYN Oncology
• Phase 1 PACU recovery experience required; Phase 2 recovery, ambulatory/outpatient, and pain management experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
• On-call required; weekend and holiday coverage expected as needed

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Phase 1 PACU experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed; study materials are not provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Candidates should be flexible with scheduling
