American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Stepdown/Intermediate Care position at a Level I Trauma Center in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a KS or compact RN license.

• 52-bed general med/surg and observation unit operating as a Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit
• Located at a Level I Trauma Center
• Day shift: 07:00–19:30
• 13-week contract
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Provides nursing care in a general med/surg and observation stepdown setting
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
