American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Psychiatric Unit position requiring a compact or ME RN license and a minimum of 1 year of psych experience.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based Pediatric Psychiatric Unit
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 48 hours per week

Requirements

• Active compact or Maine (ME) RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience required
• Flu vaccination required for employment eligibility; medical exemptions are accepted but must be submitted for facility review with at least 2 weeks lead time
• Full SSN required for consideration
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 references required from within the past year; at least one must be from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge Nurse acceptable; peer references not accepted)
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a permanent address located 100+ miles South or Southwest of the facility (489 State St., Bangor, ME 04401) to be eligible
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity are not eligible
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
• Work history must include hospital name, location, number of beds, trauma level, teaching hospital status, and any computer charting experience
