American Traveler is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for a night shift travel position at a behavioral health inpatient unit in Tampa, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of inpatient psych experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Inpatient behavioral health unit on the 3rd floor of a behavioral hospital in Tampa, FL
• Adult psychiatric patient population
• 36-bed unit with a 1:12 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week with 24 weekend hours required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating is required
• Uses Omnicell for medication management
• EMR: Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and CPI/HWC
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide inpatient psychiatric nursing care to adult patients
• Navy blue scrubs required; Crocs are not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible for this position
• 13-week contract
