American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience for a 26-week contract.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting, with a primarily Med/Surg patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• Charge RN responsibilities required as needed
• Floating required across all system facilities as needed
• Clinical skills include blood product administration, peripheral line care management, IV insertion, heparin/insulin/PCA management, nasal cannula use, and isolation precautions
• Rapid Response team utilization is part of the workflow
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory

Requirements

• Active NC RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• This is a 26-week contract only — 13-week contracts are not available for this position
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed — candidates are encouraged to prepare in advance as study materials will not be provided by the facility
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences is enforced at this facility
