American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 3 years of circulator experience with specialized proficiency in ophthalmology and pediatric cases.

Details

• Position is based in an Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Specializes in ophthalmology (adult and pediatric), pediatric orthopedics, pediatric general surgery, and pediatric ENT cases
• Day shift schedule: 6:15 AM – 6:45 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• On-call requirements are part of this role
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum of 3 years of OR circulator experience required
• High proficiency in ophthalmology (adult and pediatric), pediatric orthopedics, pediatric general surgery, and pediatric ENT required
• Epic EMR experience required
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted
• RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• Upon accepting this assignment, you may be assigned to an emergency response team by your unit manager, which may require remaining on-site or serving as part of a relief team during an emergency event — candidates uncomfortable with this expectation should not apply
