American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience, ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications, and both adult and pediatric ER experience.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:5 — experience with this ratio is required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with flexibility to also work 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM based on unit needs
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within a system of 5 hospitals based on skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Both adult and pediatric ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Two current professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing — only 2 attempts are allowed, and the test must be completed on a PC (not an iOS device); failure to pass or complete within the allotted time will result in contract cancellation
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a local rate
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — RTO requests submitted afterward will not be accepted
