Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for an Ambulatory Care (Urogynecology) position requiring at least 2 years of experience, independent practice ability, and a BSN.

Details

• Ambulatory/outpatient care setting specializing in urogynecology
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Orientation will take place with the UroGyn nursing team at a separate hospital location before independent practice begins at the primary work site
• Charting is done in Cerner

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• BSN required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Ambulatory or outpatient nursing experience required
• Proficiency in catheter insertion and removal required
• Phone triage experience required
• Must be able to function independently
• IV starts are not required

Additional Information

• Background in women's health, pelvic floor, or urogynecology is helpful but not required
• Experience with procedure assistance, urodynamics, and PTNS is preferred
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
