American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown) position requiring 2+ years of experience, Cerner proficiency, and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Neuro Progressive Care Unit (NPCU) on the 5th floor of a 355-bed acute care hospital
• 20-bed unit specializing in neuro medical strokes, neuro-ortho surgeries, overflow telemetry, and general medical patients
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Stable post-stroke, stable neuro surgery, telemetry, and general medical patients are common diagnoses
• Cerner EHR — experience is required
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to Medical, Telemetry, and Neuro units
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required — RQI certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cerner EHR experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate's permanent address must be 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Active RN license must be verified at time of consideration
• COVID vaccination card required
