American Traveler is seeking a travel LVN/LPN with outpatient clinic experience and prior travel experience for an ambulatory care assignment in Missouri.

Details

• Outpatient ambulatory care clinic setting
• Oncology-focused unit with medical and surgical oncology patients
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30), 5 days per week
• On-call availability required
• Weekend availability required
• Must be available to work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
• Floating to other units is mandatory, including as a Patient Observer (Sitter)
• Cerner EMR used; experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact LPN/LVN license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience required
• Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration — no exceptions

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include vital sign monitoring, pain assessment and management, medication reconciliation, isolation precautions/PPE, and patient follow-up phone calls
• Regular exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is expected in this role
• Candidates located within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but at a reduced pay rate
• Travelers returning after a 9-month or longer gap from a previous assignment at this facility are eligible to return
• Re-orientation is not required for travelers returning within 18 months
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position due to the travel experience requirement
