American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Children's Hospital, requiring Epic experience and an active OR RN license.

Details

• Pediatric OR unit at an academic children's hospital — the state's only academic medical center and an ACS Verified Pediatric and Children's Level 1 Trauma and Surgery Center
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, and pediatrics across all surgical services
• Higher acuity patients due to the academic, Level 1 Trauma designation
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30), including variable weekends
• Floating to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration — Charge RN references are not acceptable
• COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions

Additional Information

• Performs circulating duties across all pediatric surgical services in a high-acuity, academic OR environment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction applies
• Candidates who are former employees or previous travelers at this health system must provide a reference completed by the OHSU manager who supervised them
• Former travelers or employees must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks total
• First-time traveler eligibility should be confirmed prior to submission
