American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Jersey City, NJ, requiring at least 2 years of acute care OR experience and the ability to both circulate and scrub.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Operating Room at a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call required twice per schedule
• Charting system: Epic

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience required
• Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgical specialties required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Epic experience is preferred given the charting environment
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
