American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for an acute care hospital setting in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit in an acute care hospital setting
• 7-bed Cath Lab unit
• Shift is days, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)
• On-call required: 1 call day per week (17:30–07:00) and 1 call weekend every 3 weeks (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00)
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Meditech EMR used; experience highly preferred but Meditech training available during orientation

Requirements

• Active IL RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry monitoring required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• RTO must be finalized and submitted prior to consideration — no RTO during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 10 days of RTO for the duration of the assignment
• Please request no more than one holiday off
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
