American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) night shift position in Chesterfield, MO, requiring a MO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 81 private rooms across multiple floors
• Adult patient population (ages 18+) recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratios are approximately 1:6–7 on days and 1:8 on nights; each nurse has a dedicated tech
• Floating required within the hospital's 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of MO or a compact license currently in hand
• BLS (CPR) certification required; RQI certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required, or an approved facility-specific exemption must be obtained prior to starting

Additional Information

• CRRN certification is preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment
• Black scrubs are required; agency-provided ID badge must be worn
• Influenza vaccination is required; candidates with an approved medical or religious exemption must wear a mask from November 1 through March 31 while on Mercy premises
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
