American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position in Tucson, AZ at a Trauma Level III facility requiring Cerner EMR experience and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department at a 38-bed facility in Tucson, AZ
• Trauma Level III Certified, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving facility
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Floating is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include delivering patient care using the Nursing Process, demonstrating critical thinking and clinical judgment, delegating care priorities, and supervising assigned personnel in the ED
• Charge nurse experience is preferred
• NIHSS certification is not required but is recommended
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Facility requests candidates be available to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
