American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR/Surgery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM, requiring active NM or Compact RN licensure and AHA-certified BLS and ACLS.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room department
• Mid shift hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend work is required
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Floating to other locations or units is required

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, both from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Must be able to perform heavy physical tasks including prolonged standing, walking, positioning, pushing, and transferring patients and equipment
• Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration — Canadian SIN not accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copies of all active certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Coordinate and implement patient care appropriate to the age of the patient population served in the OR
• Work environment involves exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and X-rays
• Schedule may vary due to unexpected changes or emergencies
