Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic on night shift weekends.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position rotating across multiple ICU units within a hospital setting
• Float units include Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend nights (Friday and Saturday) plus one additional weeknight shift per week
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• IV start, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management performed regularly

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• IV start experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across a variety of ICU specialties based on staffing needs and patient acuity
• No 30-day break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• All time-off or scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
